Our cello nuts and saddles are designed to be cut down and shaped by a qualified luthier. Once installed, because of their durability and stability you will never need to replace them! 

The Nero material is made in the USA from eucalyptus paper and thermosetting resins. It is pure black and mimics the finest Madagascar ebony. It is hypoallergenic and not susceptible to humidity or temperature change. It will never warp and wears about 3x better than ebony. The surface is impermeable to sweat and body fluids and therefore very easy to clean.
