The Nero material is made in the USA from eucalyptus paper and thermosetting resins. It is pure black and mimics the finest Madagascar ebony. It is not susceptible to humidity or temperature change. The surface is impermeable to sweat and body fluids and as a result very easy to clean.
Each set includes pegs, nut, button, fingerboard, tailpiece, saddle, chinrest, and button.

The standard options are as follows: Swiss pegs (small shaft), French tailpiece (110 mm for violin and 120 mm for viola), and Guarneri Chinrest. We can substitute larger shaft pegs, Hill pegs, Hill tailpiece, a 112 mm tailpiece for violin or 125 mm for viola, or any of our chinrest styles in NERO at your request at no extra charge.
